What free actually means

Free forever. Not a trial.
Not a freemium bait-and-switch.

“Free forever” means exactly that: SprintUp Education does not limit the free tier by time, require a credit card to maintain access, or reduce features after a promotional period. Your school's digital campus, classroom tools, student management, and marketplace access are permanently free. There is no trial clock.

The business model is different from typical SaaS: SprintUp Education earns when schools purchase AI credit top-ups and when curriculum creators earn on the marketplace. The platform does not need to convert free users to paid subscribers. Free-tier schools are the platform's core product, not a funnel.

💡The one thing that costs money
AI tool usage above 7,500 credits/month costs money. Everything else — campus, classrooms, student management, marketplace access, teacher accounts — is permanently free. The credit system is covered in A3.

What you can actually build

A complete digital school.
On the free tier.

The free tier is not a limited version of the platform — it is the platform. A school on the free tier can run a full academic year of digital teaching; manage assignments, grades, and progress; communicate with parents; access marketplace curriculum; publish curriculum and earn 70% on adoptions; and use AI tools at a rate appropriate for active teaching.

The schools that encounter limits are typically those with more than 10 active students per month (which requires additional credits at approximately €3/student) or those running AI tools at very high volume. For a founding school or a focused programme for a small cohort, the free tier is genuinely sufficient.
