What's included in Free — really?▼
A complete campus for one educator: your school website on a SprintUp address, hosting, SSL, CMS, digital classrooms, live video classes, student portal, course builder, Stripe payments and access to the curriculum marketplace (opening), plus unlimited AI generation on the relax lane. Free holds one educator and up to ten students. When you add a second teacher or an eleventh student, you move to Academy; a solo educator who needs up to 50 students moves to Pro.
What do you mean by a teacher entrepreneur, and why is Pro so much cheaper than Academy?▼
A teacher entrepreneur teaches under their own name rather than a school's: a private tutor, a coach, a teacher building a practice alongside a salaried job, or a founder taking a first cohort. Pro is priced for one person, not for a number of students, which is why it is €29 a month rather than a per-student bill. It holds one teacher, up to 50 students, three websites and your own branding. Academy is priced per active student because it is built for an operation with several teachers, unlimited classes and school-wide analytics. You move from one to the other when you take on teaching staff, or when you pass 50 students.
What counts as an active student?▼
A student enrolled in at least one running class on your billing date. Students whose courses have finished are not counted, so a quiet month costs less. Academy is €4 a month for each of the first 100 active students and €3 for every student above that, with a flat €99 covering your first 25. Paid yearly, you pay ten months for twelve.
Do I need to understand credits?▼
Not really. Credits only buy speed. Every plan can generate as much as it likes on the relax lane, where your request waits behind paying accounts. Pro includes 5,000 fast-lane credits a month and Academy 250 per active student, pooled across the school; on the standard model one activity costs about 5 credits and a full unit about 50, and premium models cost roughly 14 times more. When fast-lane credits run out you simply drop back to the relax lane. Plan credits renew each billing cycle; top-ups (€10 for 2,500) never expire.
What happens when I run out of fast-lane credits?▼
Nothing pauses. AI generation continues on the relax lane, your school website stays live, classrooms remain open and students keep their materials. You can top up at any time — one pack, €10 for 2,500 credits, in any quantity — or wait for your plan's next cycle.
Does SprintUp take a share of what my students pay?▼
No. Enrolments and course fees your students pay through your own school website are 100% yours on every plan, including Free. Only standard Stripe processing fees (typically ~1.4% + €0.20) apply. The platform's 20% applies solely to curriculum sold through the marketplace, where we bring you schools you would not otherwise reach.
As a creator, when do I get paid?▼
Payments are handled by Stripe and paid out automatically to your connected bank account on a rolling basis. There's no minimum payout threshold — you receive your 80% share as soon as a sale is processed. Standard Stripe payout timelines apply (typically 2–7 business days depending on your country).
What if my students leave for the summer?▼
On Academy your bill follows your active students, never below €99 a month, so a quiet summer costs less by itself. On Pro, the yearly plan already prices it in — nine months for twelve — and on monthly you can drop to Free for the quiet weeks and come back; your courses and students stay where they are.
Can I be both a school and a creator?▼
Yes — and this is one of the platform's core design decisions. A teacher entrepreneur who runs their own school and builds curriculum for other schools can operate fully on both sides under one account. Revenue from marketplace sales goes to your creator account; student enrolment revenue goes to your school account.
