How the credit system works

Generation is unlimited.
Credits buy speed.

There are two lanes. On the relax lane you can generate as much as you like — lesson plans, exit quizzes, differentiated activities, whole course outlines — on every plan, including Free. Nothing is metered. Your request queues behind paying accounts and comes back when it is ready, usually in minutes.

The fast lane is what credits are for. A fast-lane request starts at once and can use premium models. Free includes 14 days of it when you sign up; Pro includes 5,000 credits a month; Academy includes 250 per active student, pooled across the school. Run out and the relax lane is still there — nothing stops.

💡What a credit actually measures
A credit is not a fixed price per tool. It tracks the work the model does — how much text goes in and how much comes back — so a six-week course outline costs more than a single exit quiz, and a long generation costs more than a short one. Premium models are charged at their own rate, so a premium run costs roughly ten times a standard one. The published anchor: €10 buys 2,500 credits, enough for a handful of full courses on the standard model.

Weeks 1–2: the fast lane is open. Build the course outline, the first fortnight of lessons and the activity bank while generation comes back instantly.

From week 3: the fast-lane window closes. Everything still generates on the relax lane — queue the next unit at the end of the day and it is waiting in the morning.

If you want a burst of speed back: €10 buys 2,500 fast-lane credits. They never expire, so they sit there until the week you actually need them.

The practical rule: spend the fast lane on work you are blocked on, and let the relax lane handle anything you can queue. Building next term's units is queueable. Regenerating tomorrow's lesson at nine in the evening is not.
