Week by week

What to do in each phase
of your first cohort's journey.

📅Week –1: Pre-launch — set up, test, prepare
All classrooms configured and tested. First assignment set in each classroom. Curriculum for the first two weeks shared. Platform invitation sent with spam check instructions.
📅Week 1: Onboarding — personal engagement is everything
Send a personal welcome message to every student who has created an account. Track the ‘Enrolled but not active’ list daily — follow up personally with anyone who has not created an account 48 hours after the invitation was sent.
📅Weeks 2–4: Active teaching — collect data, iterate, communicate
Use the exit quiz tool for every session introducing a new concept. Review exit ticket data before the next session. Update one thing based on that data. Send a brief weekly progress note to parents if parent accounts are enabled.
📅Final week: Completion and review — collect the social proof for the second cohort
Tell students directly in the final session: ‘The most valuable thing you can do for this school is to leave an honest review on the platform. It takes 3 minutes.’ Follow up with a personal message 3 days after the final session with the direct review link.
The data to collect

Make your second cohort
easier than your first.

A simple iteration log — a shared document where you note what you changed and why, alongside the exit ticket data that triggered the change — converts individual operational learning into institutional knowledge. When you run the second cohort, you start from the improved version.

The review that unlocks the second cohort
Ask for specific reviews explicitly, by name, with a direct link. A review that names specific outcomes and credits specific tools is worth more than any marketing activity for the second cohort.
